Equipment

Our Survey crews use the latest in Technology from Trimble and Leica. They are complete with all of the data collectors and optional equipment required to constantly perform a quality product.

Discoverseis is first and foremost dedicated to the Seismic Drilling in the most extreme environments. With this in mind Discoverseis designs, fabricates and utilizes the most unique drilling equipment in the industry. All of our equipment has been designed to be productive, safe and environmentally friendly. Our Scout 6.5 Drill is lightweight but extremely powerful and productive. With this drill heavy forrest and jungle conditions require only a light cutting of underbrush, trees are never cut, thus making this the most eco-friendly seismic drilling system in the world.

Discoverseis also counts on our rubber tracked Excel Drills to work in areas with less trees and obstacles. These drills have been specifically designed to be quick and efficient while having a very light foot-print on the environment that we work in. Discoverseis has Heli-Portable Drilling rigs for special projects that require this type of service.

Discoverseis has forged a strong alliance with Inova. We have utilized the Aram Aries system II for large 2D and 3D projects in Chile and in Belize. The quality of data acquired in both countries have been superb compared to any previous data in the same areas.

Now Inova introduces their new generation G3i recording system. By leveraging years of technological innovation and extensive field experience, INNOVA introduces G3i, the toughest, most reliable cable-based recording system available today. G3i dramatically improves field productivity and optimizes crew efficiency to the highest levels. Using fiber optic baselines, the system capacity targets over 100,000 channels in real-time for complex, large channel count surveys.

Discoverseis has recently purchased 2400 Channels of G3i equipment for our operations in Belize. So far this system has proven very quick and reliable in various conditions.
